Hey there! Thanks for reaching out. Funny you should ask, because yes, I have definitely been on a first date that was filled with awkward moments. Let me tell you about it.

I had been talking to this guy on a dating app for a while, and we finally agreed to meet up for drinks. When I arrived at the bar, he was already there and seemed nice enough. We ordered drinks and started chatting.

At first, the conversation was going well. We found out we had some common interests and things to talk about. But then, things started to get weird. He kept bringing up his ex-girlfriend and telling me all about their messy breakup. It was uncomfortable and I didn't know how to respond.

Then, he started asking me really personal questions. He wanted to know how much money I made, how many people I had slept with, and what my political beliefs were. It made me feel like I was being interrogated and I didn't want to answer.

To make matters worse, he spilled his drink on himself and had to go to the bathroom to clean up. While he was gone, I texted one of my friends to see if they could call me and give me an excuse to leave early. But when he came back, he said that he had also texted a friend and they were on their way to meet us.

When his friend arrived, things got even more awkward. They started talking about inside jokes and memories that I didn't understand, and I felt like I was on the outside looking in. Plus, his friend kept making weird comments about me and my appearance that made me uncomfortable.

Needless to say, I was relieved when the night was over. I didn't feel a connection with him and the whole experience was just really uncomfortable. I never saw him again after that and I learned that sometimes first dates can be really hit or miss.
