Do you think cult films are only enjoyed by a niche audience or can anyone appreciate them?
I think that some movies are called "cult films" because only a small group of people really like them. But, other movies that are "cult films" can be enjoyed by lots of different people. So, I think it's not just for a small group of people, but anyone can appreciate them. It just depends on what kind of movie it is!
Sometimes, cult films are the kind of movies that are a little weird or different from what we're used to seeing. Maybe they didn't do well at first when they were released in movie theaters, but over time, they caught on with certain audiences. For example, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is a cult film that has been around for a long time and is still really popular today. People like it because it's fun and different from other movies.
Other times, cult films can just be movies that people really like because they are special to them in some way. Maybe a certain movie reminds them of a time or place in their life, or it has a special message or feeling that they relate to. These kinds of movies can be enjoyed by anyone, even if they aren't part of a "niche" audience.
So, the bottom line is that anyone can appreciate a cult film if they want to! You don't have to be part of a special group or have a certain type of personality. Just be open to trying new things and seeing movies that might be a little different from what you're used to. Who knows, you might just find a new favorite!
