One of the biggest challenges is that not many people understand Buddhism or what it teaches. Some people think that Buddhism is only for monks or that it is too difficult to practice. Others believe that Buddhism is too old-fashioned and doesn't have a place in today's world. To address this challenge, followers of Buddhism are working hard to spread the message of Buddhism in a way that is easy to understand and relevant to today's world. They are doing this by creating social media posts, writing books, and giving talks to people all over the world.

Another challenge facing Buddhism is that in some regions, Buddhism is losing its popularity. This is because people are choosing to follow other religions or are becoming less interested in religion altogether. To address this challenge, followers of Buddhism are working to show how Buddhism can help people in their everyday lives.
