When it comes to finding the best universities for organic chemistry, it's a daunting task to narrow down the list. In my personal experience, the following universities have some of the best programs in organic chemistry.

Firstly, the University of California, Berkeley, has a program that has stood out for decades. Its organic chemistry program is well-respected and offers students the opportunity to work on groundbreaking scientific research. For example, professors at this university have made significant contributions to understanding the mechanism of chemical reactions in enzymes, which is essential in studying drug design. What sets Berkeley apart from other universities is that it emphasizes real-world applications of organic chemistry concepts, giving students experience outside of the classroom that helps them in their future career.
