Geology and paleontology have played a huge role in shaping the landscape of Yellowstone National Park. This beautiful and amazing park is located in the United States, and it is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life. A long time ago, millions of years before any humans lived on Earth, the land where Yellowstone National Park stands was covered in water. Over time, the water went away and the land was left dry. But then something happened that changed everything.
