Was the Mexican Revolution ultimately successful or a failure?

I think the Mexican Revolution had mixed results. On one hand, the revolution resulted in a new constitution and the establishment of a more democratic political system, which is definitely a success. On the other hand, the revolution led to a lot of violence and bloodshed, which cannot be ignored.

In terms of statistics, the Mexican Revolution is estimated to have resulted in the deaths of over a million people, which is a staggering number. However, it also resulted in a tremendous amount of social change, particularly for women and indigenous peoples. Women gained the right to vote and were able to participate more fully in the workforce, and indigenous peoples were granted greater autonomy and land rights.

One of the biggest successes of the revolution was the creation of the Mexican Constitution of 1917, which provided for a more democratic political system and greater social welfare programs. However, the effectiveness of these programs has often been called into question, as poverty and inequality continue to be major issues in Mexico today.

Overall, I think it's difficult to say whether the Mexican Revolution was ultimately a success or a failure. It was certainly a pivotal moment in Mexican history, and it had a huge impact on the country in a variety of ways.
