You see, trees are really important homes for lots of animals. When we cut down all the trees, these animals have nowhere to live and they have to go somewhere else. Sometimes they can't find a new home and they die. This is really sad because every animal is important and plays a role in the forest ecosystem.

Also, trees are really important for the air we breathe and for the climate. Trees take in carbon dioxide, which is a greenhouse gas that makes the earth warmer, and they release oxygen, which we need to live. When we cut down all the trees, the earth becomes warmer and it's harder for us to breathe.

So, deforestation can have a big impact on biodiversity and our planet. That's why it's really important that we plant more trees and protect the ones we have.
