Is it better to play video games alone or with friends?

Personally, I love playing video games with my friends. It's a great way to bond over a shared interest, and it's always more fun to experience the game together rather than just playing alone.

However, there are definitely some benefits to playing solo as well. For one, you can focus more on the story and gameplay without any distractions. Plus, you don't have to worry about anyone else's playstyle or preferences.

According to a survey conducted by Statista in 2020, the majority of gamers prefer playing video games alone. Out of the 1,000 respondents, 54% said they prefer solo gaming, while only 18% preferred playing with friends. The remaining 28% said they like both equally.

But just because more people prefer playing alone doesn't mean it's necessarily better. It really depends on your personal preferences and the type of game you're playing. Some games, like shooters or sports games, are naturally more suited for multiplayer. Others, like RPGs or puzzle games, can be just as enjoyable played solo.

Ultimately, I think it's important to strike a balance between playing alone and with friends. You don't want to miss out on the social aspect of gaming, but you also don't want to neglect your own personal enjoyment. So why not try both and see what works best for you?
