What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a team figure skating event at the Olympics?

As an avid follower of figure skating and a regular user of social media, I believe that there are both advantages and disadvantages to having a team figure skating event at the Olympics.

This can create a sense of camaraderie and national pride among the athletes and their fans alike.

In a team event, a country's chances of winning a medal increase because they can earn points through multiple skaters and routines. This can lead to more excitement and interest in the sport, as fans root for their favorite countries to come out on top.
