Limited skills and knowledge result in low-paying jobs for gig workers. Governments and employers could invest in training and educating gig workers to perform better, increasing their wages and earning potential.

5. Incentive schemes

What could be better than incentivizing companies to do good by their workers? Tax incentives that reward companies who provide better pay, working conditions, and social protection for their gig workers could provide a much-needed boost.
