What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of having public art in a city?

Well, personally I think there are many advantages to having public art in a city. For one, it can really liven up the streets and give a sense of culture and identity to the area. It can also serve as a great conversation starter and bring people together. I know that whenever I see a cool piece of public art, I always like to stop and take a picture and share it with my friends on social media. It's a great way to create shared experiences and build community.

Another advantage is that public art can actually increase property values in an area. People are often willing to pay more to live in a neighborhood with a lot of public art and cultural offerings. This can lead to more economic investment in the area, and ultimately lead to more jobs and opportunities.

On the other hand, there are also some downsides to having public art.
