These companies have the power to decide what gets produced, promoted, and heard by the general public. This means that they can have a big impact on the diversity of music that we get to listen to.

So, what do we mean by diversity of music? Well, diversity means having a wide variety of different types of music, from different genres, cultures, and artists. When we listen to diverse music, we get to experience different perspectives, cultures, and sounds that can broaden our horizons.
