Is the Copyright Law still relevant in the age of information sharing and open source content?

This ensures that creators have control over how their work is used and that they are properly compensated for their efforts. While the rise of the internet has made sharing information much easier, it has also made it easier for individuals and entities to misappropriate someone else's work without permission. Without copyright laws and protections, creators would have little say over how their work is used or distributed.

Furthermore, copyright laws help to foster creativity and innovation. By granting creators the right to their work, it encourages them to continue creating and sharing their work with others. It also ensures a level playing field for creators of all types, regardless of their financial or social status. Copyright laws allow creators to have ownership of their creations and to profit from them, which in turn incentivizes them to create even more.
