Well, as a skateboarder myself, I can tell you that there is always something controversial or up for debate in the skateboarding world. One of the biggest debates that I have seen is whether or not skateboarding should be considered a sport. Another controversy surrounding skateboarding is the issue of corporate influence. There are some skateboarders who feel like companies are taking over the sport, and that they are driving up the prices of equipment and gear. Others argue that corporate sponsorship is necessary in order to keep the sport alive and thriving.

Of course, there is also the question of safety when it comes to skateboarding. Some people argue that the sport is dangerous and that skaters are more likely to suffer serious injuries than athletes in other sports. Others argue that with proper safety equipment and training, skateboarding can be just as safe as any other physical activity.
