As a self-proclaimed board game aficionado, I have played my fair share of family games. And let me tell you, the competition can get pretty fierce at times. But if I had to pick the most cutthroat family game of them all, it would have to be…drum roll please…Monopoly.

Yes, that's right, the game that's been causing family feuds since its creation in 1935. Monopoly is a game where you buy and sell properties, charge rent to other players, and try to become the richest player on the board. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong. Monopoly is a game of strategy, patience, and a little bit of luck. And when you're playing with family members who are all vying for the top spot, things can get intense.

First off, there's the issue of who gets to be the banker. This might seem like a trivial matter, but trust me, it's not. The banker is the most important player in the game, as they hold all the money and can, at times, manipulate the game by giving out loans or changing the rules. So, naturally, everyone wants to be the banker.
