Which country has the largest population of Sannyasins?

Hey there! So, I just saw someone asking which country has the most Sannyasins, and I must say, I'm not entirely sure. I mean, Sannyasins are spiritual seekers who follow the teachings of Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, so I guess it makes sense to think that India could be the country with the largest population of Sannyasins, right?

But then again, Rajneesh actually left India and settled in the United States, where he developed a large following, especially in Oregon. So, maybe the US has more Sannyasins than India? Or maybe it's a tie? I really can't say for sure.

What I do know is that Sannyasins can be found all over the world, and their beliefs and practices can vary greatly from person to person. Some may follow Rajneesh's teachings very strictly, while others may take a more liberal approach. Some may even identify as Sannyasins without really knowing much about the movement or the guru who started it all.

So, while I don't have a definitive answer to the question, I hope this little insight helps shed some light on the diverse and complex world of the Sannyasins. Who knows, maybe someday we'll all be wearing orange robes and dancing like crazy in celebration of our inner selves!
