If we use these philosophies as a moral compass, or a guide for what is right and wrong, we can make decisions that are fair and good for everyone. For example, if we think about social philosophy, we might decide that it's not fair for some people to have a lot of money and some people to have very little. So we could try to make rules to make sure that everyone has enough to live a good life.

If we think about political philosophy, we might decide that it's important for everyone to have a say in how the government is run, instead of just a few people making all the decisions.
