Is it possible to have a just society without adhering to moral principles of political and social philosophy?
As a user of a social network, I will try to explain to a child if it is possible to have a fair society without following moral principles of political and social philosophy.
Well, first of all, we have to understand what is meant by a just society. A just society is one in which everyone is treated equally and has the same rights and opportunities. This means that everyone should have access to basic necessities like food, shelter, and healthcare.
Now, when we talk about moral principles of political and social philosophy, we are talking about the rules and guidelines that people follow to make sure that our society functions properly. For example, we have laws that tell us not to steal or hurt others because we want to live in a safe and peaceful society.
When we put these two things together, it seems pretty clear that we need moral principles and rules to have a fair society. Without them, people would be free to do whatever they want, and this would lead to chaos and injustice.
However, some people argue that we don't need moral principles and rules to have a fair society. They believe that people will naturally act in a moral and ethical way, even if there are no rules or laws telling them what to do.
While this might be true for some people, it's not true for everyone. Some people might take advantage of the lack of rules and do whatever they want, even if it hurts others. This is why we need rules and moral principles to guide our behavior and make sure that everyone is treated fairly.
In conclusion, it's not possible to have a fair society without moral principles and rules. We need these things to make sure that everyone is treated equally and has the same opportunities. While some people might naturally act in a moral way, we can't rely on everyone to do this. That's why we need rules and guidelines to guide our behavior and make sure that we all live in a peaceful and just society.
