I think multiculturalism has had some major benefits for Australian society, but there have also been some drawbacks that need to be considered. By living and working alongside people from different backgrounds, Australians are much more likely to accept and respect the different cultures that make up our society. This can only lead to a more harmonious and tolerant community.
