As a frequent user of social media platforms, I have seen various discussions and debates regarding the disparity between movie reviews by professional critics and everyday moviegoers. It is a highly debated topic that has been analyzed and scrutinized over the years. In my opinion, there is a noticeable discrepancy between both types of reviews.

To begin with, professional movie critics are well-educated and trained to assess and evaluate movies' quality based on various aspects such as acting, screenplay, direction, cinematography, and sound effects. On the other hand, everyday viewers do not possess such expertise and may view movies based on personal preferences, entertainment value, or storyline.

Moreover, critics may tend to emphasize the technical aspects of a movie, which may not necessarily be the strong points of a film. They prioritize the uniqueness and originality of the story, leaving behind the entertaining and enjoyable factor of the movie. This is in contrast to everyday viewers, who may rate a movie higher if it is enjoyable, even if it lacks originality.

Another factor that contributes to the differences between both types of reviews is the target audience. Movie critics usually aim to cater to a specific group of viewers, such as cinephiles or art-house enthusiasts, who may have high expectations and standards. In contrast, everyday viewers may be more inclined towards commercial genres like action, sci-fi, or romance, which can somewhat impact their expectations of a movie.

Additionally, the evolution of movie distribution channels has also contributed to the disparity between both types of reviews. Moreover, the ease of accessibility has led to an increase in mass consumption, which can significantly affect a movie's rating.

In conclusion, there is a clear-cut difference between movie reviews by professional critics and everyday viewers.
