As a user of a social network, I believe that complex sentences are more difficult to comprehend than simple ones for several reasons. Furthermore, complex sentences often include convoluted sentence structures, such as passive voice and relative clauses. These features can make the relationships between the different parts of the sentence more difficult to discern, and readers may have to read the sentence multiple times in order to understand it fully.
