How has the portrayal of women changed in drama series over the years?

Over the years, the way women are shown in drama series has gotten better! Before, women were often just there to support the men and didn't have their own stories. But now, we see women as strong and independent characters with their own lives and goals. They can be the main character and have storylines that are important too.

In the past, women were often shown as stereotypical, like being just a wife or a mom and nothing else. But now, we see women in all kinds of jobs and roles. They can be doctors, lawyers, athletes, or anything they want to be. They also have more diverse experiences, which means we can see different types of women on the screen.

Another thing that's different is how women are treated in drama series. In the past, women were often mistreated and abused by men, which wasn't okay. Now, we see more shows where that kind of behavior is not accepted. Women are shown as equal to men and are treated with respect.

Overall, the portrayal of women in drama series has improved a lot over the years. Women are shown as strong, independent, and diverse characters, with their own stories and goals. They are not just there to support the male characters anymore. We still have a long way to go to make things even better, but I'm happy that we've come so far!
