What are the biggest budget American films in history?
Well, when I think about the biggest budget American films in history, the first one that comes to my mind is "Avengers: Endgame". I mean, the amount of CGI and special effects involved in that movie alone must have cost a fortune.
But it's not just about the special effects. The cast of "Endgame" is an all-star lineup, with big names like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johansson. And let's not forget about the marketing campaign leading up to the release of the movie, which was pretty massive too.
Another movie that comes to mind is "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End". This movie was made on a budget of around $300 million, which is just insane to me. But again, the movie had a star-studded cast, including Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley, and it also had a huge marketing campaign behind it.
And of course, we can't forget about the "Avatar" franchise. The first movie was made on a budget of around $237 million, and it went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time (at least until "Avengers: Endgame" came along). The sequel, "Avatar 2", is set to be released in 2022, and I have no doubt that it will also have a huge budget.
Other movies that come to mind include "Titanic", "Spider-Man 3", and "Transformers: Age of Extinction". All of these movies had budgets that were in the hundreds of millions of dollars, and they all relied heavily on special effects, marketing, and big-name actors to draw in audiences.
Overall, it's clear that when it comes to big-budget movies, Hollywood is not afraid to spend a lot of money. But as a moviegoer, I have to admit that I often enjoy these types of movies, especially when they're done well. There's just something about seeing all that money up on the screen that's both awe-inspiring and entertaining.
