When the UK was part of the EU, they had access to shared databases and information-sharing networks that allowed them to work with other countries to track and catch criminals and terrorists. However, after Brexit, the UK will no longer have access to these databases and networks, which could make it more difficult for them to stay ahead of threats and protect their citizens.
