Well, dude, the understanding of the Big Bang has gone through some serious changes over time. It's pretty interesting to look at the stats and see how our understanding has evolved.

This led to the idea of the expanding universe, which basically means that the universe is getting bigger all the time.
Fast forward to the 1960s, and some dudes named Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson accidentally discovered cosmic microwave background radiation. This is basically the leftover heat from the Big Bang, which supports the idea that the universe started off as a hot, dense, and super tiny dot. This discovery was a big deal, and it pretty much cemented the idea of the Big Bang as the origin story of the universe.
But that's not where the story ends, my friend. The more we study the universe, the more we realize that we still have a lot to learn.
