What organizations are currently fighting for equal rights and what tactics are they using?

There are a multitude of organizations that are currently fighting for equal rights worldwide. From grassroots movements to large international organizations, the fight for equality is ongoing and widespread.

One of the most well-known organizations in the fight for equal rights is the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Founded in 1980, the HRC is America's largest civil rights organization focused on LGBTQ+ issues. They use a variety of tactics, including lobbying legislators, supporting pro-equality candidates, and engaging in legal battles to ensure equal rights for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Another organization fighting for equal rights is the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The ACLU is committed to defending the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and has been on the front lines of the fight for civil rights for nearly 100 years. They use a variety of tactics, from litigation to public education, to protect individuals from discrimination and to promote equality for all.

In addition to these larger organizations, there are countless grassroots movements working towards social justice and equality. For example, the Black Lives Matter movement began in 2013 as a response to the killings of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and Eric Garner.
