As a user of social media, I believe that direct democracy has played a significant role in the fight against systemic inequality and injustice. Social media has allowed voices to be heard from all corners of the globe, and people have utilized this platform to speak out against oppression and discrimination.

Direct democracy is a form of democracy whereby decisions are made directly by the people rather than through representatives. This method allows for a more participatory approach to decision-making and ensures that all voices are heard.
