As a user of social media, I think teachers need to go through some preparation before using Socratic questioning in their classes. A teacher’s primary role is to teach students, and they need to be well-equipped with different teaching techniques that will not only engage students but will also enable them to learn. The use of Socratic questioning is one of the many teaching techniques teachers can use to support their students' learning process.

Teachers can start by understanding what Socratic questioning is, how it works, and the intervention levels. They can also prepare by researching the different types of Socratic questioning and how they can be used in a classroom setting. Once they have a solid understanding, teachers can then create lesson plans that use Socratic questioning, incorporating the technique into their curriculum.

Teachers also need to possess some skills in questioning techniques. This means knowing how to ask questions that encourage critical thinking and inquiry. Teachers need to develop the ability to ask open-ended questions that demand a detailed explanation rather than a simple “yes” or “no” answer.
