Which countries have the best track record when it comes to protecting civil rights?

Well, that's a tough one. I don't think there's a perfect country out there that protects civil rights 100%. But hey, some are definitely doing better than others.

From what I've heard, countries like Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland are known for their strong track record when it comes to civil rights. They have very progressive legislation and are often at the forefront of human rights issues. However, I've also heard that there are still some issues with discrimination and racism in those countries, so even they aren't perfect.

Canada is another country that often gets praised for its commitment to civil rights. They have a strong legal system and a government that actively tries to promote diversity and inclusivity. However, some Indigenous communities in Canada still face considerable challenges and inequalities, so it's definitely not a perfect system.

The United States is an interesting case. On one hand, they have a constitution that provides some of the most robust protections for civil rights in the world. However, the country has a long history of systemic racism and discrimination, and in recent years there have been high-profile cases of police brutality and violations of civil liberties.
