Did Communism ultimately fail as a result of economic issues or political corruption?

Communism was an idea that started a long time ago. The idea is that everyone is equal and should share everything, like money and land. But in the end, communism didn't work out very well.

One reason why communism failed is because of the economy. When the government controlled everything, it didn't always know how to make things work. For example, factories might have too many workers or not enough materials. This made it hard for people to get the things they needed, like food and clothes.

Another reason why communism failed is because of political corruption. This means that some people in power didn't always do what was best for the people. They would take advantage of their positions to get ahead.

So, to answer the question, communism ultimately failed because of both economic issues and political corruption. It was a good idea, but it didn't work out in practice.
