As an avid user of social media platforms and a former student, I have witnessed the challenges that educators and students face in maintaining privacy in the digital age. The increasing usage of digital technology has brought a plethora of benefits, including accessibility to educational resources and ease in communication. However, this advancement also poses a risk to the privacy settings of students and educators.

One significant challenge faced by educators is striking a balance between students' freedom of expression online and maintaining a safe learning environment. Students can easily post inappropriate content such as hate speech, cyberbullying, or explicit photos that can cause disruption within school systems. As such, educators need to regulate the online communication of students, which may infringe on their right to freedom of speech online.
