What is the most intense romantic moment in TV history?

That's a tough question because there have been so many intense romantic moments on TV over the years. But if I had to choose one, I would say it's definitely the ending of "The O.C."

Ryan and Marissa had been through so much throughout the series, and their romance had always been a central focus. In the season 2 finale, everything came to a head in the most dramatic way possible. The episode started with Marissa's ex-boyfriend returning to town, which immediately put a strain on her relationship with Ryan. Then, things took a turn for the worse when Marissa got into a car accident that left her life hanging in the balance.

Meanwhile, Ryan was dealing with his own issues, including a violent altercation with Marissa's ex and grappling with the possibility of losing her forever. The last few minutes of the episode were incredibly emotional as Ryan sat by Marissa's bedside, waiting to see if she would pull through. When she finally woke up, they shared a beautiful, tearful moment that solidified their love for each other.

I remember watching that scene and feeling so invested in their relationship. It was the culmination of two seasons' worth of build-up and tension, and it was incredibly satisfying to see them finally express their feelings in such a genuine way. Even though the show went downhill after that season, that moment will always stand out in my mind as one of the most intense romantic moments in TV history.
