What is the most unusual dish you've ever encountered during a unique dining experience?
Well, one time I went to a fancy dinner and they had a really weird dish. It was called "huitlacoche" and it's actually a type of fungus that grows on corn. I know that sounds gross, but it's actually a delicacy in Mexico!
The dish itself was called "huitlacoche quesadillas" and it was basically like a cheesy quesadilla with the huitlacoche mixed in. I was a little nervous to try it, but I took a bite and it actually tasted pretty good! It had a earthy, mushroom flavor but mixed with the cheese it was delicious.
It was definitely the most unique dish I've ever tried, and I don't think I'll come across something like that again anytime soon!
