However, when it comes to the question of which country has the best natural landmarks in South America, there are a few standouts that simply cannot be overlooked. Here are my top picks for the countries that offer the most spectacular natural sights and landmarks in this region.

Firstly, it's hard to talk about natural landmarks in South America without mentioning Peru. This country is home to some of the most iconic and recognizable features on the continent, including the breathtaking Machu Picchu. This ancient Incan city, perched high in the Andes mountains, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most famous landmarks in the world.
