What do historians believe about the early life of King Tut and how he came to power?

Historians believe that King Tutankhamun, or King Tut for short, was born around 1341 BC in ancient Egypt. His parents were King Akhenaten and his wife Queen Nefertiti. King Akhenaten was known for his religious reforms and for moving the capital of Egypt to a new city. However, his reign was not popular with many people and after he died, King Tut became pharaoh at a young age.

It is believed that King Tut was only 9 or 10 years old when he became pharaoh. This was a very young age to be ruling a country, even in ancient times. It is thought that he may have had advisors or guardians helping him to make decisions.

Despite being a young ruler, King Tut is not known for any major accomplishments during his reign. He only ruled for 10 years before he died at the age of 19. However, his tomb was discovered in 1922 by archaeologist Howard Carter. Inside the tomb were many treasures, including King Tut's famous golden mask.

Some historians think that King Tut may have died from an injury or an illness, while others believe that he was murdered. However, there is no concrete evidence to support either theory. It remains one of the biggest mysteries surrounding King Tut and his reign.

In conclusion, historians believe that King Tut's early life was shaped by his parent's reign, his father's religious reforms, and his own ascent to power at a young age. Although he did not leave a significant mark on history, his tomb remains one of the most famous archaeological discoveries of all time.
