The Texas Revolution was a war fought in the 1800s between Texans and the Mexican government. The Texans wanted to be independent from Mexico and they fought hard for this.

The outcome of the Texas Revolution had a big impact on the future of the Americas. Texas became its own country for a few years, called the Republic of Texas. This meant that Texas had its own government and laws.

But, after a while, Texas decided to join the United States of America as a state. This was a big deal because Texas was a really big state and it became part of a really big country. This changed the balance of power in America and made the United States even stronger.
