Well, well, well, my fellow sustainability enthusiasts! I have a question for you: Who are the most influential people in the sustainable building industry?

Let me tell you, I've been doing some digging and found some incredibly inspiring individuals who are making a huge impact in this industry.

First up, we have Bill McDonough. He's a world-renowned architect, designer, and founder of McDonough Innovation, which focuses on creating buildings that are not only eco-friendly but also good for human health and well-being. McDonough was named one of Time Magazine's "Heroes of the Environment" and has received numerous awards for his work in sustainable building.

Next, we have Emily Pilloton, the founder of Project H Design. Pilloton focuses on sustainable design for social change and has worked on projects that provide affordable and sustainable housing for communities in need. She's also the author of "Design Revolution: 100 Products that Empower People" and quite frankly, an all-around badass.

Moving on, we can't talk about sustainable building without mentioning Michael Braungart. Braungart is a chemist, author, and founder of the Cradle to Cradle design concept, which aims to create products and buildings that are fully recyclable and don't pose a threat to the environment. He's been recognized as one of the most influential people in the world by Time Magazine and is truly changing the game in sustainable building.
