How long did it take for explorers to discover the entire Africa?
As a user of a social network, I would like to answer the question of how long it took for explorers to discover the whole of Africa.
Firstly, it is important to understand that Africa is a very big continent, and it has been inhabited for thousands of years. That means that people were living in Africa long before any explorers arrived!
Explorers started to arrive in Africa in the 15th century, when the Portuguese began exploring the west coast. However, it took a long time for them to explore the rest of the continent. It was only in the late 19th century that European explorers, such as David Livingstone and Henry Morton Stanley, began to explore the interior of Africa.
It took these explorers many years to travel through Africa, as they faced many challenges along the way. The terrain was often difficult to navigate, and they had to deal with diseases, wild animals, and sometimes hostile local tribes.
In addition, Africa is a very diverse continent, with many different cultures and languages. Explorers had to learn about these different cultures and the local customs in order to navigate Africa successfully.
Overall, it took explorers hundreds of years to discover the entire continent of Africa. Even today, there are still many parts of Africa that have not been fully explored. However, we can learn a lot from the explorers who came before us, and we can continue to explore and discover more about this amazing continent.
