Indigenous cultures knew the land and the animals very well. They knew what plants were good to eat and what animals were safe to hunt. They also had lots of knowledge about the weather and could tell when it was going to rain or when a storm was coming.

These cultures were very smart and used their skills to survive and thrive even without modern technology. They had to rely on their instincts and skills to protect themselves from dangerous animals and survive the harsh winters.
