When it comes to the most influential leader during World War I, there's a lot of debate. However, in my opinion, the most influential leader was definitely Winston Churchill.

Churchill was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during most of World War II, but he actually had a pretty lengthy political career before that. He served as First Lord of the Admiralty during World War I, and his policies and strategies during that time were instrumental in Britain's victory.

One of the most important things Churchill did during the war was advocate for the use of tanks. At the time, tanks were a brand-new technology, and many military leaders were skeptical of their value. But Churchill recognized that tanks could revolutionize warfare, and he pushed for them to be developed and deployed. His efforts ultimately led to the creation of the first tank divisions, which played a crucial role in numerous battles.

Churchill was also a skilled orator, and his speeches during the war helped inspire and motivate the British people. One of his most famous speeches came after the evacuation of Dunkirk, when he said, "We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."

Overall, I think Churchill's leadership during World War I was pivotal in securing Britain's victory. And of course, his legacy would continue to shape the world for decades after the war ended.

Of course, there were many other leaders who played important roles during World War I, and I could see arguments being made for different individuals. But in my mind, Churchill stands out as the most influential.
