Well, that's a tough question! There have been so many great films in the last five years that it's hard to choose just one that deserves to win the best picture award. But if I had to pick, I would have to say that I think "Moonlight" deserved to win in 2017. The film was beautifully shot and had an incredibly moving story that tackled important themes like race, masculinity and sexuality.

However, I also think that "The Shape of Water" was a deserving winner in 2018. Guillermo del Toro's film was a true work of art, with stunning visuals and an imaginative storyline that really captured the imagination of audiences. It was a unique and daring film that was a real standout in the line-up of nominees.

But it's not just about individual films - the Oscars are also about recognizing the talent behind them. There have been so many incredible actors and directors over the past few years who have truly shined in their roles. People like Mahershala Ali, Emma Stone, and Laura Dern have all delivered amazing performances that have really stood out to me.

Overall, I think the past five years have been a great time for cinema, with so many diverse and thought-provoking films being made. It's hard to pick just one winner from among all of these amazing nominees, but I do think that "Moonlight" and "The Shape of Water" were both truly deserving of the coveted best picture award.
