In my opinion, traditional assessment tools like exams are still relevant in the digital age. The digital age has brought many changes, especially in the education sector, with the introduction of online learning and virtual classrooms. However, exams still offer an essential measure of a student’s performance in a particular subject.

Exams can provide an accurate evaluation of a student’s knowledge and understanding of the subject. They test a student’s ability to apply what they have learned in class in real-life scenarios. Also, they provide an unbiased way of evaluating students, as they focus on the understanding and performance rather than factors such as gender, race, or social status.

Moreover, exams have been around for a long time, with a well-established grading system that helps students and educators assess a student’s progress. The grading system is objective and provides feedback on areas a student needs to improve to ensure better learning outcomes. Furthermore, exams help students develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential in the modern workforce.

However, exams alone may not provide a complete evaluation of a student's performance in a subject; they require balance with other assessment tools.
