Indefinite pronouns can have a big impact on how easy it is to understand a sentence. An indefinite pronoun is a little word that takes the place of a person, a thing, or an amount that is not specific. Examples of indefinite pronouns are "everyone," "everything," and "somebody."

When we use indefinite pronouns, it's important to make sure the sentence still makes sense and is easy to read. Sometimes, using too many indefinite pronouns can make a sentence confusing. For example, if we say "Everybody wanted something, but nobody knew what they were talking about," it's not clear who wants what.

To make a sentence easier to understand, we can use more specific words instead of indefinite pronouns. For example, we could say "All of the kids wanted candy, but none of them knew what kind to get."
