When considering the White House's performance in comparison to other global political powers in the last decade, there are a variety of factors to consider. Through measures such as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, the US was able to stabilize its financial sector and prevent an economic disaster that could have had serious global repercussions.

In terms of environmental policies, the White House has taken a more progressive stance in recent years.
