As a user of social media, I believe that fantasy TV shows do indeed have the power to influence real-world politics and societal issues, but not in the way that many people might immediately think.

Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that while fantasy TV shows often take place in completely different worlds and universes, they are still created by humans living in our own society. As such, they are inevitably influenced by our own cultural values, beliefs, and experiences. This means that even if a show is not consciously trying to tackle real-world issues, its creators can still unintentionally introduce certain perspectives and opinions that reflect our own societal biases.

Furthermore, fantasy TV shows can serve as a powerful vehicle for exploring complex and multidimensional political and social issues. They are not bound by the same limitations as news media or political discourse, which are often constrained by rules of objectivity and accountability. Fantasy TV shows can take more creative and imaginative approaches to exploring important issues that can't always be captured by straightforward debates or exposés.
