When we do ecological restoration, it can really help the environment, but did you know that it can also help the local economy and create jobs too?

When we restore the environment, it can help create new opportunities and jobs for people in the community. For example, planting new trees means someone has to grow those trees and someone has to plant them. This creates jobs for the people who work on the tree farm and for the people who plant the trees. Plus, people who hike and explore the forest can also help the local economy by buying food, staying in hotels, and shopping at local stores.

Restoring wetlands also creates jobs when people need to clean up the area, plant new plants, and work to restore the wetland's water sources. This helps the environment but also helps people who need jobs in the community. Plus, wetlands provide many benefits to an area like cleaning the water and providing homes for animals.
