The Vikings had these incredible sagas and stories about gods and heroes that are still fascinating to read today. And of course, everyone loves a good dragon or monster or other mythical creature, and the Vikings had some of the best!

Lastly, I think Viking history is still popular today because it represents this time when Europe was going through a huge transformation. The Viking Age was this period of great change, where old kingdoms were falling apart and new ones were rising up. It was a time of exploration and innovation, as well as conflict and upheaval. So I think people are drawn to that kind of dynamic, transformative history.
