One of my personal favorites is Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida, USA. They have an entire section of the park called "Pandora - The World of Avatar" which has an immersive environment and the opportunity to interact with "floating mountains" and bioluminescent plants.

They have shows featuring killer whales, dolphins, and sea lions, as well as opportunities to get up close and personal with penguins, stingrays, and sharks. They also offer behind-the-scenes tours where you can learn about the care and conservation of these incredible sea creatures.

If you're looking for an adrenaline rush combined with an animal connection, Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, USA has a safari adventure where you can take a tour through the "wilds" of Africa and see animals such as elephants, giraffes, and rhinos up close.
