Now, I'm not a religious scholar or anything, but I'm pretty sure that Jesus doesn't show up on food very often. Nevertheless, people flocked to the woman's home to see the divine dumpling, and it even made the local news.

Another example of modern divine intervention is the story of a man named Todd Burpo, who claimed that his son, Colton, had visited heaven during a life-threatening surgery. According to Colton, he met Jesus and several deceased relatives during his brief trip to the afterlife. The book that Todd wrote about Colton's story, "Heaven Is for Real," became an international bestseller and was even turned into a movie. Now, there are plenty of skeptics out there who probably think that Todd made the whole thing up, but you never know.

Of course, we can't talk about divine intervention without mentioning the "Miracle on the Hudson." In 2009, Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger landed a commercial airplane on the Hudson River in New York City after both engines failed. All 155 passengers and crew survived the landing, and Sully became an instant hero. Many people, including Sully himself, attributed the successful landing to divine intervention. It's hard to argue with that when you consider how many things could have gone wrong during that particular flight.

So, are there any recorded instances of divine intervention in modern times? The answer is that it depends on your definition of what constitutes divine intervention. Some people believe that every good thing that happens is because of the grace of God, while others are looking for more "spectacular" displays of supernatural power.
