Is it fair to compare US Presidents from different time periods?

As a user of a social network, I believe that it is fair to compare US Presidents from different time periods, but it is also important to consider the context in which they served.

Each President faced unique challenges during their time in office, whether it was domestic issues, economic crises, or major foreign policy decisions. However, despite these differences in circumstances, all presidents share a responsibility to govern the country to the best of their ability and to uphold the values of the Constitution.
